Cellular Lattice Structures (CLS) are structures designed based on a unit cell. The properties of the whole structure depend on the unit cell properties and the arrangements. CLSs have attracted many attentions in the past decade by the advancements happened in AM industry. Additive manufacturing is one of the main methods of fabricating complex CLSs. The IUT AM Lab also, has focused on designing and fabricating different CLS types using SLM, SLS, SLA, and FDM technologies. Students, both, with abilities in computer programming and fan of experimental projects are welcome to join AM lab to develop more knowledge in this area.
